a series of mysterious signs

I admit it, I have been in the holiday funk. It should really be surprising as it usually rears its head about this time of the year. My studio partner is away on vacation and its generally nuts around here so I have not had my usual art time to fall back on. I've had to adjust my meds and just try to keep my head above the waves day by day.

But in the last couple of days a series of events, signs if you will, has occurred to give me something fun to look forward to. I am super excited that I am signed up to take a journal class from Mary Ann Moss called Remains of the Day. I can't wait to have the time to get started on it. It will collect up all sorts of odds and ends and ephemera to put in the pages. I plan to also do it alongside Hananh and her new sewing machine from Santa (shhhhhhh). My online friend Debra is also doing it with her six year old so it will be fun to see what they come up with. Little kids are so free and brilliant.

Anyway, I will try to do better blogging in the new year. I just need to regain control of my self, my life etc.. I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and Bright Blessings in 2010!!

  1. Hi Heather! I know what you mean about the holiday funk. Luckily mine lifted for most of the season and I am determined now more than ever that next year I will decorate and work towards that goal throughout the year. Also, my goal is to stamp a bunch of Christmas To/From gift tags to give as hostess gifts next year! I loved your Christmas card with Hannah!!! So cute!!!

I am wishing you a happy new year!!! Hey, what books did you get from Greg??? Did he find your book wish list somewhere?
