Many of you know that my step-sister Heidi is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with mylodysplasia (MDS) 4 years ago. We worked closely with the Red Cross and National Bone Marrow Registry to host 2 bone marrow drives while trying to find a match for Heidi.
