Hello! My Name is:

IMG_5713.JPG

I am guest blogging for Heather as she is a woman who has many hats one of which is maintaining this blog just like most out there, Heather is mother. She has a little one and is feeling the end of the school year crunch.
(I have two teenagers and have tender memories of all the activity's the young grade school children have at the end of the school year and fully understand.)

Heather is such a sharing artist and so much of her creative spirit is shared in the promotion of fellow artisans in the pages of her Portal ZINE.

Heather is the kind of friend that will listen with her heart and bring you a big bowl of chocolate ice cream topped with a chick cookie complete with Cadbury Mini Eggs when your exhausted from teaching at artfest and need to elevate your cankles!

Now I wanted to share a little something with you all
on staying motivate and finding time and inspiration to blog.

I get so busy working on projects and traveling that I truly do not have the time to blog.
I was so happy when I discovered how to blog with great ease,
November of last year I started a blog called snap shots of my life its started out as a place for me to place silly snap shots that I was taking with my IPhone.
(any phone that you can take a photo and send email will work.)

I found the ease that I could blog with a couple words and a few minutes was so freeing that I soon started to apply instant blogging to my main blog by shaing shots of my desk as various stages during the day...

(as you can see I am a very messy worker! who also likes to snack! you can see the completed bracelet here.)

I tend to follow up by blogging a proper post once the project is completed.
doing this has given me a new motive to follow up and has also given me a look into my creative process as well as allowing me to look back and see how a piece of art can unfold.

I hope you will give instant blogging a try!

All my best and happy blogging!
Thanks for letting me guest blog for you Heather!
