We had a great and very fun day yesterday. We set up a mini water park at my MIL and BIL's house and enjoyed the heat in the shade of their big tree soaking each other with water guns, buckets, dunks in the pools and slides on the slippy slides. It was a fun day with friends and the kids. I hope everyone out there in blog land also had enjoyable days.
Today I am home and crabby. Its too hot, I have a cold and it sucks! What is with summer colds? My head is all stuffy and my nose is running and I feel all fuzzy. In the winter I can at least drink tea and snuggle up with a blanket but I am sitting here in front of my fan with a box of tissue and nose drops. What a sight.
Anyway, as of today I am behind on everything. I hope to get a decent night sleep and feel better tomorrow so I can get back to getting caught up.

ReplyDeletebut i am sorry to hear you have a summer cold. they are the worst! i hope a cool breeze comes your way soon...maybe you can go somewhere air conditioned to have some tea? i hate it when it is that hot. the worst.
