Its been well over a week that I have had the crud.. phooey. I am convinced that once it came on my muse ran for the hills. She seems to be in hiding and I have two books to work on. I was doing so well too. I have pretty much acted like a lump this week with the exception of doing lots of laundry and vacuuming on occasion. My doctor confirmed I have some kind of infection, refilled my inhalers and handed my a bottle of decongestant along with the offer of a note to get off work. LOL Considering my job entails taking care of a 4 year old and working from home.. didn't really fly. Oh to dream ;)
Anyway, I have been lax on blogging and gluing and basically life BUT behind the scenes I have been very productive in FINALLY finishing the customization of a Blythe doll for my daughter. I am pleased with how she turned out, especially considering I used an ADG which are notorious for being difficult to dis-assemble. The bottom line is that the wee one is happy and that makes mama very happy. I will get some shots when its light out now that I have managed to recharge my camera.
In other news.. its my dear friend Holly's blog-o-versary and she is having a sweet give away. As much as I hate the competition for the sweet goodies she is offering up... please go give your well wishes on her celebration.
Oh. I almost forgot about Good Stuff this week! Hmm, I guess it might be on Saturdays once in awhile instead of Fridays. This week I am going to mix it up a little bit by focusing on the new "street team" I joined (even tho Etsy is being super slow adding some of us) on Etsy which is the Cottage Style Steet Team headed up by none other than sweet Sadie Lou of Sadie Lou Who.
So far the street team boasts a good bunch of crafters and purveyors of all things vintage and good. Instead of providing specific links to things (there are so many) I am going to just share images of a few of my personal favs and encourage you to hop on over to Etsy and put "CSST" in the search box and see what pops up. Happy Shopping...
My Darling Heather,
ReplyDeleteI am so beyond frustrated with how long it takes the admins to get going on each email. I sent them three emails right off the bat and then I realized, they actually take 5 business days to respond to *each* one.
*sigh*
I have so many new members every day--you'll be on there this week! I promise! Thanks for the write up and for working with Layla on the banner (she said you two will collaborate?)
~Sadie Lou
Hi, Heather - I so hope you feel better soon! Thanks for reminding me to list CSST in my titles. Wishing you health - Wendy/BerryLane

ReplyDeleteHeather, i am SO sorry you have been sick...lots of nasty "bugs" are going around right now...i have somehow managed to avoid most of them in spite of working in a hospital...maybe your muse is off on a holiday with mine who still seems to be missing *sigh*
