beading & mailbox fun

Yesterday I got some fun packages in the mail. No, not that Sally Jean charm I have been waiting for for over a month, (what is up with that?!) but these cool fabrics to add to my stash.
These Amy Butler squares I got from eBay with the intention of cutting them into strips for more freeform sewing.

I also recently ordered these yummy fabrics to play with. I can't wait to cut them into strips and sew!!

Lately, I have also dug into my dusty stash of beads to work on some beaded faces for Mamarox's annual beaded face swap. Last year there were some really fun ones and this year there are a batch of new players so I am really looking forward to seeing what comes in. I have several in progress but this is one I finished last night. Not too bad for not having really beaded in neaely two years!

  11. Ok, you big troublemaker,
Thanks for hooking me up! I ordered the countdown fabric in both b/w and the COLORS. Had to get a couple of yards of each, because you never know....

I've been on a fabric buying roll due to your bad influence!
