contest

Hey Gang,
I have never hosted a blog contest before but I thought it would be kind of fun to have a little one just to get you all to chime in. I just would like to ask everyone who reads to make a brief comment to my post. You can introduce yourself or tell me why you want a set of birdie buttons which is the prize! I just would kind of like to know who all is reading these days. I will randomly draw a name on Tuesday, May 16 to be the winner.
Cheers!
me..

PS, for those of you have written to check up on me this week. Thank you! We are fine. The weather has finally gotten nice so we have been taking advantage of some outdoors time. Allergies are in full swing but otherwise we are all healthy (finally!) I have no new news on Heidi, she is in good spirits and taking care of herself. I will be sure to share any news I get on her health. Hugs!

  2. I saw your comment on Laura Duet's blog (Maude & Mozart) and was so excited when I read that you too had been to San Giminano Italy as we were just there last summer. It is so lovely there..I actually use pictures from Italy in some of my cards and ATC's. Like Laura I love paper arts, but work as a school social worker. I will visit you again! Tricia Both

  3. You know me, but I will tell you that I actually collect this size of button. (It's a little obsession I have.)I have some on my messenger bag from Artfest and the rest are snagged into the interior roof of my car. I figure they are where I see them every day and it's MY car so I can "decorate" it however I want. My car actually has several art pieces in it.

Anyway I would love those gorgeous little birds to go on my messenger bag, which is my purse/art bag. I I don't win, can we be sure to trade?!?!

The buttons are CUTE!! I need to get my button maker out! You and Carol are passing me by! I got a cool button from her with some hot guys on it!! I think I'll have to do something like Tatterededge and get a bag to display them all on! That would be neat...OR BETTER YET, sew my own bag!! :)

  9. Okay....so you already know me through the alphabetica girls, but now you know I'm also a slacker since I haven't got my pictures to you yet for my banner. (The trip to Aruba put me way behind. I will work on that SOON.) The birdies are great and I'm thrilled my name is in the "hat."

  12. My boychild, Alex, has a passion for all things with feathers. His current love, Ares, a blue parakeet, seems to be a permanent fixture on his left shoulder.

I would love to surprise my son with these little bird treasures.

Discovered your blog via Joleen's blog.... love it!
