But I can't even get my "reader" friends (all two! LOL!) to read it, cuz I can't explain how good it is...and it's way hard to explain what it's "about"...
SO glad you liked it too! Now I'm not the ONLY one I "know"! It was the kind of book I didn't want to end!

I just finished My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Piccoult, which I see someone above recommended. Definitely an emotional read... excellent book, but be sure to stock up on tissues first!

My mind went blank right now and I cannot think of any other books to recommend... but I will tell you the next book I am about to start is Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern. It was recommended to me by both my mom and aunt who say it is a nice light-hearted read, something I sorely need after reading My Sister's Keeper.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044405.post-1157683165921013452006-09-07T19:39:00.000-07:002006-09-07T19:39:00.000-07:00I have been wanting to read this book but haven't ...I have been wanting to read this book but haven't seen it at Goodwill yet...that's where I buy most of my books:):) I would recommend Nicholas Sparks - Three Weeks with my Brother or The Guardian...I agree that the Wedding was great...or Anita Shreve - I have loved everything I have read by her.
I liked She's Come Undone (I don't remember the author) or The Lovely Bones (I don't remember that author either)Raesha Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06636989295632347591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044405.post-1157488569543453872006-09-05T13:36:00.000-07:002006-09-05T13:36:00.000-07:00I agree, The Secret Life of Bees is great, and I a...I agree, The Secret Life of Bees is great, and I also finished The Mermaid Chair by the same author. Not as good as Bees, but still good. I just finished The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks. It kinda picks up where The Notebook left off. I also really liked The Five People You Meet in Heaven.Babsarellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07821873016942409376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044405.post-1157484288598291112006-09-05T12:24:00.000-07:002006-09-05T12:24:00.000-07:00The Time Traveller's Wife is one of my favorites, ...The Time Traveller's Wife is one of my favorites, as well.
